Mohannad and Farzana settle into their new custom family cottage while eyeing retirement there one day

It’s a family cottage for now. It’s a retirement home in the future.
Mohannad and Farzana’s custom dream home in Point Clark – an all-season refuge for them and daughter Meena and son Ameen – is all they hoped it would be.
“I cannot tell you how happy we are with the finished product,” Mohanned said in the Great Room of his open-concept custom home we built on their lot near the beach.
“They really build quality homes and it’s very obvious. We kind of knew that hiring Royal Homes. But now that we live in it, we see it as well. We live it every day.”
The family can enjoy toasting marshmallows around the fire pit out back and Mohannad enjoys sipping his coffee from the new back deck.
The splashes of peaceful colour make the brick work around the house and on Mohannad’s double garage come alive with hue and heft.
The vinyl shake on the front gable is “Oceanside” blue. The front door itself is a beautiful “Blustery Sky”. The blue ceramic tile backsplash in the custom kitchen is “Sky” too.
It all comes together with the help of Liz Thompson, custom home designer at our Wingham Design Centre. Mohannad and Farzana provided the vision.
Liz added the expertise for their combined version of our Oxford and Lynden models, both viewable at our Wingham Design Centre.
Together with our clients, a “country feel” with a beach lifestyle was achieved with many smiles and much laughter.
Delivery Day for their prefab modules in 2022, Mohannad says, remains one of the most memorable days of their lives. Since, Royal Homes has been “very responsive” to any minor issues, he said.
“They were a fantastic couple to work with,” Liz said. “We had a lot of fun.”
Mohannad and Farzana are self-described “enthusiastic customers” of Royal Homes and we are grateful to have them as happy clients.
“We would love to work with Royal Homes again, if we ever build again,” said Mohannad, who has been very impressed by the high build quality. “It’s been brilliant.”
