After building custom dream homes and cottages since 1971, we like to knock them out of the park.
“There were so many curveballs that I threw at Royal Homes,” our client Karen said, sitting on the raised deck of her custom dream cottage overlooking Lake Simcoe on Victoria Point.
“They were great. They were like ,‘No problem. We’ll figure it out.’”
So, during the design process, Karen decided she really like the nine-foot ceilings in the basement. She wanted to add them to the plans for upstairs.
“They were fantastic,” Karen said. “Great customer service. Great people. Really great people.”
Now, Karen and husband Darren can enjoy the views and cottage lifestyle in comfort, with nine-foot ceilings on both levels. An old cottage on the same spot had become tired. It was a great cottage. Darren’s grandfather built it from scratch.
“It served its purpose for its time,” Karen said. “It was starting to get old and starting to fall apart. So, it was time.”
Karen came to Royal Homes with a couple design ideas. Royal put them together to fit our clients vision.
“Fabulous job,” Karen said. “It’s everything I wanted. It’s absolutely amazing.”
Karen’s favourite features are the wood-burning fire place in the great room and the spacious pantry room beside the kitchen.
“I love the wood-burning fire place. That takes the cake, especially in the winter time.”
Karen was equally impressed watching us deliver two prefab modules for her custom dream cottage at the end of August in 2022.
“An incredible experience,” Karen said on delivery day.
“Everyone here is obviously very knowledgeable and knows what they’re doing. It came together so quickly. It’s just amazing.”
Now, Karen and Darren can enjoy their custom dream home with their family and friends.
“This is the best decision we ever did, building a home with Royal Homes” Karen said.
“The whole experience from beginning to end was just fabulous.”
